plaster repair is finished in living and dining rooms. Looks pretty good huh! Notice the “entertainment center” that we built into the old fireplace opening.

Above: the blue house – a new method of plaster repair. Drill holes into plaster, inject a masonry conditioner. Then fill holes with an adhesive and screw the plaster tight to the lathe with plastic washers. When the adhesive dries, remove the washers. The plaster is tight and ready for a new topcoat. No mesh to hide. It works great!

I haven’t done anything to the exterior, but we’ve updated the interior. I’ve been waiting for the “blue” house would sell so I’d have the money to restore this log house. Here are  before and after photos:
